We welcome United Methodist churches and churches from other denominations to partner with us. While Shineforth is no longer officially owned by the United Methodist Church, we continue our strong ministry partnership, and we are incredibly grateful for this connection. Partners provide passionate volunteers, dedicated foster families, much needed prayers, and critical donations to support the vulnerable children and families at Shineforth.

Become a Church Partner

There are a variety of ways churches can partner with us to support high-risk children & families across Virginia:

Support a Regional Office – Each of our 8 locations serves their surrounding region, and each region has specific local needs. Church partners can help support local events like foster care support groups or Christmas parties, provide supplies or Christmas gifts, or meet other local needs. Please see our location list below. Volunteer – Encourage individuals and groups in your congregation to volunteer at Shineforth. CLICK HERE to learn more.
Foster Parents – Share the urgent need for foster parents with your congregation and community. CLICK HERE to learn more.
Spread the Word – Provide a link to Shineforth.org on your church website. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and share relevant stories with your congregation.
Pray – Pray for the vulnerable children and families at Shineforth.
Church Offering – Participate in the annual Shineforth offering to provide much-needed financial support.
