Summary: "Not Your Typical Yard Sale" was a great success!
Detail: UMFS and The Closet Factory, as a follow-up to their partnership in the first annual "Spring Clean for a Cause," gave away a selection of gently worn clothing for men, women and children on Friday, June 12, at UMFS. Items were completely free of charge and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. More than 100 persons stopped by to shop. Many thanks to everyone who donated clothing items for "Spring Clean for a Cause," and all who visited UMFS for "Not Your Typical Yard Sale."

Learn more about Project Life, a partnership with Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) and UMFS. The goal of the project is to coordinate and enhance the provision of independent living services to foster care youth who are about to transition out of foster care.
