Project LIFE Volunteer Inquiry
Project LIFE (Living Independently, Focusing on Empowerment) is a partnership between UMFS and the Virginia Department of Social Services. The program helps equip foster youth with life skills so they can be successful when they age out of foster care. Volunteer mentors play a critical role in the life of foster youth, providing support and role modeling.
Project LIFE is currently accepting applications for mentors in the greater Richmond region. (Other regions of the state are currently on hold.) Richmond’s spring mentor class is full, but we welcome your application now for fall 2019. Please submit the form below and we will reach out to you this summer to begin the process. Thank you for your interest!
