Project LIFE Volunteer Inquiry

Project LIFE (Living Independently, Focusing on Empowerment) is a partnership between UMFS and the Virginia Department of Social Services. The program helps equip foster youth with life skills so they can be successful when they age out of foster care. Volunteer mentors play a critical role in the life of foster youth, providing support and role modeling.

PLEASE NOTE:

The Project LIFE mentor program is currently full and not able to accept new applications. If you are interested in mentoring at UMFS, we do have a need for mentors in our Child and Family Healing Center program. CLICK HERE to fill out that volunteer application and learn more.
