UMFS Unwavering Champion Kerry Gee

At UMFS, we are unwavering champions for high-risk children and families, collaborating with communities to help them reach their full potential. Each month, we name an employee as Unwavering Champion of the Month for going above and beyond in upholding our agency’s mission and values.

We’re pleased to announce our Unwavering Champion for May, Kerry Gee, Human Resources Coordinator. In her first 12 months with the agency, Kerry already has become well known by staff and leadership for her patience and personality. Among Kerry’s many strengths is the ability to establish and nurture relationships.

“Kerry has a lot of empathy for staff when they come to HR feeling confused,” said Alisa Kline, UMFS HR Recruitment & Talent Manager. “At UMFS, one of our core values is ‘Relationships Are Our Building Blocks,’ and you can’t meet and talk to Kerry without seeing and feeling this value come through.”

UMFS President and CEO Greg Peters commended Kerry for being a quick study, noting how much she’s accomplished in just one year with the agency. “She’s a fast learner and takes on additional responsibilities without complaint,” Greg said.

Kerry’s contributions include expanding agency wellness initiatives and human resource process efficiencies. Most recently, Kerry played a key role in helping UMFS complete an urgent special project with little advance notice. “Kerry takes on anything and everything thrown her way,” Alisa said. “She jumps on board right away and goes above and beyond.”
