In this time of great uncertainty and change, our vulnerable communities are at an even greater risk of disruption. As we navigate the challenges presented to our communities by the COVID-19 health crisis, we are preparing to respond to the potential need for temporary homes and support for children and teens.
Become a foster parent. Your are our first responders.
Attend a virtual information session to learn more. Our information session requires no commitment.
During our time together we’ll provide more details about the children and teens we serve, as well as the extensive training and comprehensive support UMFS provides along the way. Please join us in learning more about how you can become a champion for children and families within our community.
Please contact Jessica Guzman at 804.256.2882 or firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up for the virtual information session and receive the dial-in information.
NOTE: Attendance at one of our information sessions is required prior to beginning ImPACT training. Please call if you are not able to attend a pre-scheduled date and we will work with you to schedule an alternative time.
After completing an information session, we typically begin new ImPACT training classes once a month.
