Each month, UMFS recognizes one of our employees as the Unwavering Champion of the Month. This award celebrates the UMFS mission and how our employees bring that mission to life. Our mission: UMFS is an unwavering champion for high-risk children and families, collaborating with communities to help them reach their full potential.
Our Unwavering Champion for November is Hollie Wrenn, Food and Supply Services Coordinator at the UMFS campus in Richmond.
UMFS Administrative Service Manager Sara Barrille describes Hollie as “spectacular.”
“She has quite the responsibility with ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents,” Sara said. “I have a hard enough time taking care of my own daily caloric intake!”
Hollie tackles the daily task of meeting all of the FDA health requirements for UMFS students, of whom more than 40 have additional special diet restrictions.
But Hollie’s reach is far beyond that of nurturer, Sara said.
“Every time I have needed any assistance with meetings or special events, Hollie is more than eager to offer her help and always makes everything special.”
Hollie’s passion for her work unleashes greatness. She spends a good deal of time behind the scenes putting together special events and always performs her work with a smile.
Hollie absolutely is an unwavering champion for high-risk children and families.
