Hello, Harrison! Join Us in Welcoming UMFS’ Summer Marketing Intern

July 15, 2019

Meet Harrison. Harrison is a Reynolds Community College student in the UMFS Courage to Succeed program, and we’re happy to have him with us as an intern in the UMFS marketing department this summer.

Courage to Succeed is UMFS Charterhouse School’s college program for students with neurological differences, including high-functioning autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, and traumatic brain injury. The program helps students develop skills to earn a college degree, work in their chosen field, and live a productive, independent, and happy life. Each summer, Courage to Succeed pairs students with internships throughout the community.

Harrison comes to the UMFS marketing team with strong writing and researching skills. The 22-year-old has recently taken an interest in photography, so we challenged him to snap a few photos during his recent family vacation in Massachusetts. He didn’t disappoint! See below for some creative pictures of mossy rocks, stones, and a rope hammock. “These all look much more interesting up close and personal,” Harrison said. “You can see more of the little details in that one frame.”
