Summary: UMFS South Central Regional Center announces 2010 orientation events
Detail: UMFS South Central Regional Center offers orientation events for all persons interested in becoming foster and adoptive parents. Orientations will be held at the UMFS Farmville Office, 212 High Street, on January 21 and February 18. Orientations will be held at the UMFS South Central Regional Center, 100 North Carter Street in La Crosse, on March 18, April 22, May 27, July 13, August 12, September 16 and October 21. All events begin at 6 p.m. Dates are subject to change. Participants must register in advance. To register or for more details, please call the UMFS South Central Regional Center at 434-757-1065.

Learn more about Project LIFE, a partnership with Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) and UMFS. The goal of the project is to coordinate and enhance the provision of independent living services to foster care youth who are about to transition out of foster care.
