Guardian Place
Conveniently located in Richmond, Guardian Place is a community of affordable apartments available exclusively to active adults 55 and over.Each apartment style is thoughtfully designed to be bright, inviting, cozy and easy to maintain.

Ask Guardian Place residents why they like living here and you'll get any number of enthusiastic replies. They'll tell you about its convenient location — only a short stroll to city bus service and close to shopping, medical, religious, and cultural centers.

They'll also tell you about Guardian Place's friendly, secure atmosphere. A caring, helpful staff is on duty every day to ensure residents' comfort. In addition, an around-the-clock monitored emergency call system provides peace of mind. In an emergency, help will be sent immediately.

Residents feel strongly about safety and security, so they particularly appreciate the emergency systems, community policies, and features that contribute to Guardian Place's protective environment. Fire and smoke detectors, as well as a fire sprinkler system, are located throughout the buildings. All exterior doors are monitored, there is limited access through the main entrances, and apartment entry doors have peep-holes and deadbolt locks.

Guardian Place welcomed its first resident in August of 1994. The apartment community quickly reached full occupancy. In fall 2000, Guardian Place II opened and increased the number of apartments to 236. With all of the comfort offered at Guardian Place, residents couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
